The Times Group has relaunched Times Courier, which has immediately started offering services with collection points in Blantyre, Zomba, Mangochi, Lilongwe and Mzuzu.

The group has also launched Times Customer Experience centre.

The event was held in Blantyre Wednesday at the group’s headquarters.

Speaking during the launch, Times Group Business Manager responsible for courier, circulation and customer experience Gray Chikanda said the services will bring value for money to customers.

He said the courier has been re-born on the back of the group’s extensive experience in delivering newspapers across the country, adding that customers can, therefore, expect top notch services.

“We urge our customers and prospective customers to come to Times Courier because we offer convenience, we are dependable, we are secure and we offer value for their money,” Chikanda said.

The courier is The Times Group’s newest subsidiary out of many of its subsidiaries in media, book publishing and distribution, among others.

Chikanda said, upon the realisation that people want to be serviced in the comfort of their homes and offices these days, they have a door-to-door service embedded to the courier.

“For customers with bulk parcels, we will be offering the door-to-door services wherever. We will be collecting property from wherever they want and deliver it from wherever they want,” Chikanda added.

Roles of the customer experience centre include booking and scheduling advertisements, handling creative and events briefs and handling complaints.

The Times Group has companies such as Blantyre Newspaper Limited, Times Television, Times Radio, Times 360 Malawi and Dzuka Publishing Company, among others.
