GUIYANG, July 22 (Xinhua) — Manbang Group, China’s leading domestic freight service platform, will provide 20 million yuan (about 3.09 million U.S. dollars) to truck drivers in central China’s Henan Province after record rainstorms lashed the region, the firm announced Thursday.

The relief fund will be allocated to truck drivers who have suffered losses in localities that were hit by heavy rainstorms and flood disasters, including the cities of Zhengzhou, Luoyang and Xinxiang.

The firm will subsidize the transportation of materials for disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction to the affected areas of Henan Province using its app.

Moreover, the company will give priority on its platform to promoting the allocation of emergency materials for disaster relief.
